Senior Duty Manager - Lost In Leith

We are looking for a beer lover to join our team at Lost In Leith. As a craft beer bar and event venue, this is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in beer-focused and lively venue, with a varied and pleasant clientele. We have a small team that we will invest time in training, and we hope our new addition will plan to stay with us long-term.

Overview

  • 20-30 hours per week

  • £13.75 per hour

  • Dedicated admin time each week

  • Overseeing bar staff and duty managers

  • Reporting to general manager

  • Available for immediate start preferably, but by the end of October at the latest

Duties

  • Running bar shifts

  • Working solo for some periods

  • Instructing staff members

  • Social media management

  • Updating menus and other documents as needed

  • Cellar management duties

  • BOH POS management

  • Checking deliveries

  • General cleaning duties

  • EOD till reporting

  • Other reasonable duties as may be required

Requirements

  • Experience in at least a duty manager role at a hospitality venue

  • Capable of lifting 60 kilos

  • At least basic beer knowledge and a keenness to expand this

  • Literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Regularly available to work Fridays and Saturdays

  • Available to work 31st December

  • Two professional references
